"I recognize that this office has a 4.9 average rating, so many customers have clearly had positive experiences and I am guessing the positives were from when John Veersma was the agent in the office. Unfortunately, our experience has been very different. We have been State Farm customers for decades and, until this transition after John’s retirement, we always had agents who were responsive, professional, and helpful. That has not been our experience with Todd Heeter’s office. In our case, the office assistant was rude on the phone, and Todd never responded to our follow up calls. For long-term customers who have trusted State Farm for decades, that level of service is very disappointing. At this point, we are finding another insurance agent and will also be sharing our experience with State Farm corporate. Be careful and don’t assume the level of quality and integrity have been conferred to Mr. Heeter and et al. It hasn’t."

"This is disappointing to hear. Obviously, this is not how we would like customers to feel and am sorry this is how you feel. The transitioning of agents can be tough for customers and the new agency alike. That is no excuse for the interactions as you describe them. We want to be better. That being said, I would welcome a call to discuss this so we can gain a better understanding and grow from any mistakes.
